This guide details the known restrictions and limitations of the Backup Licenses product that you should be aware of before ordering your licence.
Known restrictions
Veeam Backup & Replication version
- Our infrastructure only supports Veeam Backup & Replication servers running version 12 or higher. A VBR server on an earlier version cannot be connected to the OVHcloud Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC), and therefore cannot be assigned a licence.
Operating system and available editions
- VBR servers running on Linux (Veeam Software Appliance) only support Veeam Data Platform (VDP) licences: Foundation, Advanced or Premium.
- The Veeam Enterprise Plus edition is only available for VBR servers running on Windows.
