OVHcloud Connect

Connect your infrastructure to OVHcloud over a dedicated, private, high-bandwidth link — bypassing the public Internet.

OVHcloud Connect guides

OVHcloud Connect establishes a dedicated, private connection between your corporate network and your OVHcloud services — compatible with all OVHcloud solutions. Instead of exposing traffic to the public Internet, it delivers guaranteed bandwidth from 50 Mbps to 100 Gbps with lower, more predictable latency, so you keep full control over your data flows. With a Service Level Agreement of up to 99.99% and automated, fast deployment, it is built for hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, high availability for business-critical applications, and enterprise WAN integration.

You can establish the link in two ways, both covered by these guides:

  • OVHcloud Connect Direct — you manage a dedicated fibre-optic cross-connect (1 Gbps to 100 Gbps) between your equipment and OVHcloud's in a shared Point of Presence (PoP). Best if you are already present in an OVHcloud PoP.
  • OVHcloud Connect Provider — a third-party network provider carries the connection on your behalf (50 Mbps to 50 Gbps). Best if you are not co-located with OVHcloud or prefer a managed service.

Both support Layer 2 (Ethernet transparency for VLAN interconnection, Direct only) and Layer 3 (BGP-routed WAN integration) connectivity.
