# Delegating permissions on an email account

## Objective

With the OVHcloud Exchange or Email Pro services, you can set up professional email addresses, and use them with a range of features for collaborative work. One of these features is the ability to delegate specific permissions (for example sending or access permissions) between different email accounts.

**This guide explains how to delegate permissions on your email account to another user.**

## Requirements

- an [OVHcloud Exchange](https://www.ovhcloud.com/en-gb/emails/hosted-exchange/) or [Email Pro](https://www.ovhcloud.com/en-gb/emails/email-pro/) solution already set up
- at least two active email accounts, configured on the same OVHcloud Exchange or Email Pro platform
- credentials for the email account that will be delegated new permissions
