# Zerto VRA - Resize Virtual Replication Appliances

## Objective

This guide describes the functionality of the **VRA** tab in Zerto on Managed VMware vSphere.

This view allows you to:

- Display all Virtual Replication Appliances (VRAs) present on the installation.
- Select one or more VRAs using checkboxes.
- Apply a target resource configuration via the **Target resources** list.

## Prerequisites

- Have an active Managed VMware vSphere service with Zerto enabled.
- Have access to the Zerto section of your datacenter.
- Have the necessary rights to launch a resizing operation.
- Verify that your PCC has sufficient resources (CPU, RAM, storage) to apply configuration changes.

:::info
The VRA tab is accessible from the Zerto tab group by clicking on **VRA**.
:::

:::info
The options provided in the **Target resources** list are retrieved automatically and correspond to applicable configurations.
:::

## In practice

### Step 1: View the VRA list

The VRA view displays a table containing the VRAs present on your installation, including:

- The VRA name.
- The VM identifier (VMid).
- The associated resources.

Each row has a checkbox for selection.

### Step 2: Select the VRAs to resize

You can select one or more VRAs at the same time.

As long as no VRA is selected:

- The **Target resources** field is disabled.
- The **Start resize** button is disabled.

When at least one VRA is selected:

- The **Target resources** field becomes available.

The **Start resize** button becomes active only after:

- Selection of at least one VRA.
- Choice of a value in **Target resources**.

### Step 3: Choose the Target resources configuration

In the **Target resources** list, choose the destination configuration (e.g., 1 vCPU - 2 GiB, 2 vCPU - 6 GiB, etc. depending on displayed options).

The list displays only configurations applicable to the selected VRAs.

### Step 4: Confirm the resize operation

Click **Start Resize** after selecting the VRAs and the target resource configuration.

A confirmation window opens with the title **Confirm VRA reconfiguration**. This window displays:

- The target profile chosen.
- The list of VRAs that will be reconfigured.
- A warning message indicating that the operation may temporarily affect the replications configured in your VPGs.

Available actions:

- **Confirm**: starts the reconfiguration of the selected VRAs.
- **Cancel**: closes the window without applying any changes.

:::warning
Before confirming, verify that your PCC has sufficient resources (CPU, RAM, and storage) to apply the new configuration.
